If you are from from central or northeastern Connecticut, chances are good that you know someone who has been involved with or was positively affected by the work of the United Way. Their stewardship of resources help mobilize volunteers and organizations in their 40-town region to provide valuable services for those in need. The theme of the 2014 Annual Report was about those positive connections that the United Way made possible – highlighting faces in the crowd to show how members of the community are inextricably linked as donors, volunteers or beneficiaries.
